SXH 2015

There are strict regulations for organizing events and races in national parks. On Hardangervidda the main focus is to ensure that the unique environment is preserved for future generations and that endangered wildlife is not disturbed.

We are currently in the process of preparing a written report to the government officials regarding the SXH2014 experience.
Important topics are littering, feedback from participants and other stakeholders - but most importantly; our actions prior to and during the event, to ensure that we are not interfering with the endangered reindeer population at the plateau.

We take our responsibility as an organizer seriously, so this is an important part of creating an experience on the unique Hardangervidda.

We will proceed with the application for the Salomon Xreid Hardangervidda 2015 edition after this report is submitted and reviewed by the government and other stakeholders.

We know that you all are eager for information about next year, so we have created a tentative timeline. Obviously, these dates are all dependent on the required permissions, but we are committed to give you SXH2015.

Without further ado:
Important dates – Salomon Xreid Hardangervidda 2015:

January 25th 2015 - The route and dates will be announced.

January 25th 2015 – The granted number of participants will be published.

January 30th 2015 – Application process will open.

February 13th 2015 - Application process will close.

February 20th 2015 – Outcome of application process will be announced.

Oh, and one last thing..
